Corsair has announced the launch of the COMMANDER DUO Lighting and Fan Controller, an innovative solution that bridges the gap between traditional PWM ARGB fans and Corsair’s next-generation iCUE LINK ecosystem. Designed for PC builders and enthusiasts, the COMMANDER DUO simplifies cooling and lighting control with wide compatibility, streamlined management, and intelligent customization.

Hybrid Compatibility for Every Build

The COMMANDER DUO is built to handle mixed fan configurations with ease. Two dedicated channels allow control of up to 12 PWM ARGB fans (six per channel), with synchronized fan speed and RGB lighting management via iCUE software. This ensures a clean and unified approach to cooling without the need for multiple controllers or software platforms.

For users with Corsair’s iCUE LINK devices, the COMMANDER DUO integrates seamlessly. It features two iCUE LINK connections and can dock directly with an iCUE LINK System Hub (sold separately). When docked, the controller supports up to 11 iCUE LINK devices alongside 12 PWM ARGB fans—giving users full control of their cooling setup through a single software interface.

Intelligent Monitoring with Temperature Sensors

The COMMANDER DUO isn’t just about fan speed and lighting—it’s also about intelligent system management. The controller includes two temperature sensors that can be placed anywhere inside the case, such as near a GPU or exhaust fan. These readings can be linked with iCUE profiles, allowing fans to automatically adjust speed based on real-time thermal conditions, ensuring optimal performance and noise control.

Flexible Installation and Ease of Use

Designed for convenience, the COMMANDER DUO is easy to install in any build. It attaches magnetically to metal surfaces inside the PC, or can be mounted with included double-sided tape for non-metallic areas. Once installed, it works seamlessly with Corsair iCUE software, offering intuitive fan curves, RGB synchronization, and performance monitoring.
