Aten KVM Extender - x USB x DVI KE6940A Dual-Monitor Over IP Extender Kit

Utilizing expertise in Over IP KVM solutions, the KE6940A series is an IP based DVI KVM Extender that allows access to a computer system from a remote USB console (USB keyboard, USB mouse, DVI monitor) anywhere over an intranet. The KE6940A Dual View Extender supports two DVI displays at each end, allowing the video output to display on two monitors.

The DVI KVM Over IP Extender consists of a Transmitter unit that connects to the computer and a Receiver unit that provides console access from a separate location. The computer is accessed from the remote console over a standard TCP/IP network via Cat 5e cable that allows point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and multipoint-to-multipoint administration. This is perfect for use in any type of installation where you need to place the console where it is convenient, but you want the computer to reside in a secure location - away from the keyboard, mouse and display in use. As a Matrix Extender it can connect single/multiple: computers-to-consoles in several ways: one-to-one (Extender mode), one-to-many (Splitter mode), many-to-one ( Switch mode), or many-to-many (Matrix mode).

The Matrix Manager software provides advanced features for username/password authentication, autodetection of all KE6940A devices on the same subnet and define connections that can be Switched and shared. New security features also provide extra protection, supporting AES-128bits encryption for secured data transmission, while RADIUS, LDAP, AD or remote user authentication provides added layer of connection security. With an OSD, RS-232 support, and Auto MDIX, the KE6940A is the most cost-effective and convenient way to get a full digital extension from anywhere on the intranet.

Return Policy

You need to have a Return Authorization (RA) number before returning any products to HSSL Technologies.

For a hard copy of this form and a shipping label, please include your request in the form below.

You can also request an RA online by submitting an RA Request via email. Once you have provided HSSL Technologies with the appropriate information, we will contact you with an assigned RA number.

Defective or DOA Products

DOA or defective products are returned for REPLACEMENT ONLY with the same product/model. Deviations from this policy may result in a 20% Returns Processing Service Charge.

Defective products must be in the original factory carton with all original packing materials.
The Return Authorization number must be on the shipping label, not the carton. Please do not write on the carton.
Returns must be shipped freight prepaid. Products received freight collect, without an RA number, or not approved for return will be refused.
Return Authorization numbers are valid for fourteen (14) days only. Products returned after expiration will be refused.
HSSL credits are based on the purchase price or current price, whichever is lower.

General Return Terms

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We will also pay return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (e.g., you received an incorrect or defective item).

You should expect to receive your refund within approximately six weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. This period includes:

5–10 business days for us to receive your return from the shipper
3–5 business days for us to process your return
5–10 business days for your bank to process the refund

Shipping Policy

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and certain products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

If you order displays your Package Tracking Numbers, check with the shipper to confirm that your packages were delivered. If your packages each show a status of "delivered", please contact customer service for assistance.

Backordered items are those which our suppliers are unable to predict when they will have more in stock, but as soon as they do, we will be able to ship the item to you.
