AXIS Camera Station S1148 Recorder is an out-of-the-box, ready-to-use recording solution designed to deliver reliable high-definition surveillance. This recorder comes as a rack server, with the possibility to add extra hard disks and a storage capacity of up to 144 TB.
This easy-to-install solution includes AXIS Camera Station video management software licenses for mid-sized installations, so you have everything you need to help ensure every customer installation is trouble-free.

Out-of-the-box, ready-to-use
AXIS Camera Station S1148 Recorder comes with AXIS Camera Station video management software licenses and configured software, so out-of-the-box you get seamless and reliable integration to all your Axis network cameras. AXIS Camera Station also allows you to verify system performance at installation, so you can be sure your solution is effective and secure.
The integrated AXIS recorder toolbox features an intuitive wizard, making it easy to set up hostname, network settings, and date and time setting. It includes everything you need to keep your system updated and maintained, all from one centralized place. And, the latest software is available in just one click.
Greater flexibility to meet your needs
AXIS Camera Station S1148 Recorder comes with greater storage flexibility allowing you to fully customize your system storage. It include several industry-standard RAID levels (0/1/5/6/10) to configure your system based on your specific redundancy and performance requirements.
AXIS S1148 is available with either 24 TB, 64 TB or 144 TB storage, and allows you to add extra hard disks to both the 24 TB and 64 TB variants. This solution is also validated to support as many as 16 additional camera licenses, so you can easily expand your system as it grows.

AXIS S1148 provides increased performance and contains a powerful CPU to allow for fast processing of data. The operating system is stored on a Solid-State Drive (SSD) meaning system start-up is fast, and the operating system is safeguarded in the event of failure.
AXIS S1148 comes preconfigured with RAID for even more reliable data storage, with added built-in protection against data loss. Furthermore, with next business day on-site hardware replacement, 5-year warranty and keep your hard drive service, you can depend on first-class quality, reliability and support all the way.

Shipping & Return
Return Policy
You need to have a Return Authorization (RA) number before returning any products to HSSL Technologies.
For a hard copy of this form and a shipping label, please include your request in the form below.
You can also request an RA online by submitting an RA Request via email. Once you have provided HSSL Technologies with the appropriate information, we will contact you with an assigned RA number.
Defective or DOA Products
DOA or defective products are returned for REPLACEMENT ONLY with the same product/model. Deviations from this policy may result in a 20% Returns Processing Service Charge.
- Defective products must be in the original factory carton with all original packing materials.
- The Return Authorization number must be on the shipping label, not the carton. Please do not write on the carton.
- Returns must be shipped freight prepaid. Products received freight collect, without an RA number, or not approved for return will be refused.
- Return Authorization numbers are valid for fourteen (14) days only. Products returned after expiration will be refused.
- HSSL credits are based on the purchase price or current price, whichever is lower.
General Return Terms
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We will also pay return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (e.g., you received an incorrect or defective item).
You should expect to receive your refund within approximately six weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. This period includes:
- 5–10 business days for us to receive your return from the shipper
- 3–5 business days for us to process your return
- 5–10 business days for your bank to process the refund

Shipping Policy
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and certain products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
