Broadcom 7-nm Octal 106-Gb/s PAM-4 Duplex PHY - BCM87360
The Broadcom BCM87360 is a single-chip, 8×106-Gb/s full-duplex Pulse Amplitude Modulation (PAM-4) PHY. It is a low-power device supporting both the PAM-4 and Non Return-to-Zero (NRZ) data formats. It supports various retimer modes. It also supports 25G, 50G, 100G, 200G, 400G and 800G line-card front panel applications. On-chip clock synthesis is performed by a low-cost 312.5 MHz reference clock via high-frequency, low-jitter phase locked loops (PLLs).
The BCM87360 is fabricated with advanced, low-power 7-nm CMOS technology. The BCM87360 is available in a 17-mm×17mm, 0.8-mm pitch, 400-pin BGA, RoHS-compliant package.
