Product Description
Broadcom Multigigabit Automotive Ethernet PHY with MACsec - BCM89890
The Broadcom BCM8989X family of devices is the world’s first IEEE 802.3ch compliant 10G/5G/2.5GBASE-T1 Ethernet transceiver device designed for automotive applications including in-vehicle connectivity, telematics, infotainment, ADAS and smart mobility. The BCM8989X family of products perform all the physical layer (PHY) functions for 10G/5G/2.5GBASE-T1 encoded Ethernet packets over a single pair of shielded twisted-pair (STP) cables. The BCM8989X device is designed to meet automotive specifications for EMI/EMC, noise cancellation, and transmission jitter, providing consistent and reliable operation over a single shielded twisted-pair automotive cable.
