Reaching speeds to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and to 400 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz frequency band, this feature-rich AP leverages advanced Wi-Fi and Beamforming antenna technology, maximizing performance and reliability while greatly increasing outdoor network user capacities. The AP is designed to operate in harsh environmental conditions and includes an IP55-rated weatherproof housing.
The ENS620EXT is easy to install in virtually any location with its included Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) injector for quick outdoor installation. The AP is an ideal outdoor wireless solution for residential and commercial applications including ski and beach resorts, sports arenas, college and corporate campuses, indoor industrial environments, and homes and businesses located in snowy, rainy, and arid climates.

Multi-MIMO sends multiple streams to several devices simultaneously expanding the total bandwidth and capacity of the network.

This includes prolonged exposure outdoors to sunlight, extreme cold, frost, snow, rain, hail, heat, and humidity, and indoors where temperature may be a factor.
Gigabit Ethernet PoE Port Supports Flexible Power Options
Connect and power the ENS620EXT via its Gigabit Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) port in locations where power outlets are limited or unavailable, such as under the eaves of roofs, on light poles or in other remote locations. Utilize the secondary Gigabit pass-through port to connect an additional network device such as an IP surveillance camera or an additional access point/bridge for greater outdoor deployment flexibility.
Extend & Maximize 11ac Wireless Coverage Outdoors; Pair with Sector Antennas
Extend the network over short or long-distances with robust 27dBm output power coupled with four (4) detachable, SMA-type, Omni-directional, 5 dBi MU-MIMO antennas that deliver network connectivity 360degrees to large yards and patios. Pair the ENS620EXT with the SA5219 or SA2216 Sector Antennas to create a powerful wireless base station with 120degrees sector-wide coverage, extending the AP's reach up to 1.86 miles, establishing an outdoor hotspot.
Fast Roaming & Secure Guest Network Features Improve the Customer Experience
Configure multiple APs for Fast Roaming (802.11r & 802.11k); ensuring client authentication occurs seamlessly before client devices move to the next AP, providing continuous connectivity for devices in motion with fast, secure roaming. Establish Guest Networks to limit Internet resources for visitors while securing the network from sophisticated Trojans and malware that can use guest's mobile devices to attack the network.
