JBL Stage 250B 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers (Espresso, Pair) - JBL250BBLK
The JBL Stage 250B 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers in latte finish are the larger bookshelf option for the JBL Stage Series speakers and versatile enough to be used as main speakers or surrounds. The 250B is comprised of JBL's 5.25" Polycellulose ribbed cone woofer to handle the bass and midrange, with a 1" anodized aluminum tweeter coupled to the Stage 2 HDI horn for the high frequencies.
The Stage 250B features sturdy 5-way binding posts to connect to your amplifier or receiver. The bass-reflex design utilizes a flared rear-firing port to reduce chuffing and improve bass response. Additionally, anti-slip pads are provided to secure the speaker and reduce vibration.
1" Anodized Aluminum Tweeter in HDI Waveguide
Through intense research of previous waveguide designs, JBL has developed a new complex geometry that improves directivity and reduces diffraction. In the Stage 250B speaker, the Stage 2 HDI Horn is coupled to a 1" anodized aluminum dome tweeter. This design offers a neutral frequency response both on and off axis.
