• The K405G4 server series features a 2U, single-socket server system equipped with latest AMD® EPYC™ Processor Family and up to six standard PCIe expansion slots.   Optimized High Performance : A single AMD® EPYC™ processor provides up to 32 cores, 8 memory channels and 128 PCIe 3.0 lanes. With the industry-leading core count, more VMs and more robustly configured VMs per server are enabled than ever. Whether deploying a single server, implementing a private cloud or enabling a hybrid cloud, K405G4 series strike the perfect balance of cores/threads, memory, IO bandwidth and security to deliver excellent performance for various workloads. 
  
  High Scalability : Without the need for additional PCIe switches to get the PCIe lanes required, K405G4 series allows up to six standard PCIe expansion cards, realizing high speed IO connectivity.
  
  Furthermore, without any extra attachment of HBA cards, K405G4 could directly support up to eight U.2 NVMe with sixteen 2.5'' SATA drives, or a maximum of sixteen NVMe drives for all NVMe option, enabling streamlined software defined and direct attached storage solutions, applicable for both hot and cold storage. Supported by a variety of HBA/RAID storage mezzanine cards via optional interposer connection, the series offers multiple storage options.
