Introduction
KD-XPS22U Smart Extender transmitter + receiver set utilizes HDBaseT technology to extend HDMI, IR, RS-232 control, TCP/IP, and USB 2.0 over a single CAT6. A built-in 2x1 HDMI switcher on the Tx unit makes selection of HDMI sources in Conference Rooms, Lecture Halls, Entertainment or Gaming spaces possible without additional hardware. The transmit unit also features a local pass-through output for an additional display on confidence monitors or output to AVRs. USB 2.0 connectivity may be used to enable soft codec conferencing systems. Connect Key Digital’s KD-CAMUSB or other USB camera and a USB mic + speaker conferencing combo into the USB Device ports on the Rx unit so users may bring their own device and bring their own meeting, using the professional video and audio equipment within the conferencing software of their choosing by simply connecting their laptop to the USB host port on the Tx unit.
