Product Description
Maximize your processing power with 2x the core density.
The Lenovo ThinkSystem SD550 V3 multi-node server maximizes core density in a 2U half-width format enabling up to 4 Intel CPUs in a 2U chassis.
Features

Built for Demanding Data
The SD550 V3 multi-node server powered by the latest Intel® Xeon® Scalable processor maximizes density by providing up to twice the number of cores than a standard 2U rack server. It’s also ideal for applications requiring real-time analysis of data sets or processing of transactional data with storage needs.
The 2U half-width format with up to 2 CPUs maximizes core density, saves rack space, and lowers OPEX.

Performance and Flexibility
Supplying density, performance, flexible storage, and multiple network options, the SD550 V3 is the optimal choice for a hyperconverged infrastructure.
The SD550 V3 gives you the option to scale out as needed. You can start with one node in a Lenovo ThinkSystem D3 Chassis and add more as workloads expand. It also adds greater flexibility to your rack space with the ability to mix nodes in the same chassis to meet your processing needs.

Increase Efficiency and Sustainability
With three 2U fans, the SD550 V3 is the most efficient of the Lenovo multi-node server portfolio. This is accomplished by reducing the number of fans required versus a standard rack server of equal size.
Options for shipping a pre-installed and tested server reduce packaging waste and speed up deployment.

Intel On Demand processor licensing enabled
Intel® On Demand (previously SDSi) is a new service introduced with 4th and 5th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors. It enables expanding or upgrading accelerator and hardware-enhanced features on most 4th Gen Xeon processor SKUs. Supported features: Intel® Dynamic Load Balancer, Data Streaming Accelerator, In-Memory Analytics Accelerator, Quick Assist Technology, and Software Guard Extensions.
