Quantum Scalar i6000 and AEL6000 Drive Ready Expansion Module (DREM2), no tape drives Expansion module configured to support tape drives. Also adds unlicensed slots to the system. The number of unlicensed slots varies depending on the number of drives added: 444 slots with one drive to 348 slots with 12 drives. Licenses to activate cartridge slots must be ordered separately. Configured with gen1 or gen2 robotic rails as needed. Adding an Import/Export Station reduces the available cartridge slots in the module: 24-slot I/E Station removes 60 slots and the 72-slot I/E Station removes 168 slots. Power is included with this module, but redundant power must be ordered separately. Ships with one power cord, L6-30 for North American orders and IEC 60309 for international orders. Requires installation (SSC6K-NEXM-000x) for each module.
