Quantum Scalar i6000 and AEL6000, Library Managed Encryption License Key for Scalar Key Manager (SKM), One-Drive Enables system encryption key communication with one tape drive. For use only with Scalar Key Manager. Supported tape drives include HP LTO-4 or later or IBM LTO-5 or later. Not for use with libraries using Q-EKM or Third-Party license keys. Not needed if the backup application manages encryption keys. Warranty/service level of key-enabled drives must match the service length and level of the system. System managed encryption is enabled by partition but a Partition license is not required. Include enough licenses to enable the system to communicate with all drives in encryption partitions. This is a library-based license, not a drive license and cannot be transferred to another library.
