Tripp Lite's SU5KRT3UTF Unity Power Factor UPS system protects connected equipment against damage, downtime and data loss due to power outages, voltage fluctuations and transient surges. Unity Power Factor design enables full 5000VA / 5000W output capacity when used with hardwire 208V input power (output de-rates to 4800W with included L6-30P input cord option). In double-conversion mode, this UPS system maintains perfect output by continuously converting AC input to DC, then reconverting UPS output to fully regulated sine wave AC with ±1% voltage regulation and zero transfer time between online and battery modes. Featuring true on-line, double-conversion operation, Tripp Lite's SmartOnline® SU5KRT3UTF provides the highest level of UPS power protection for critical server, network and telecom equipment.
Reliable, Expandable Battery Backup
UPS battery backup keeps connected equipment operational through short power failures, and provides time to save data and perform an orderly system shutdown in case of a prolonged blackout. The internal battery set provides 15 minutes of support at half load and 5 minutes at full load. During normal operation, incoming utility power keeps the battery fully charged so backup power will be available when needed. Advanced temperature-controlled battery charge management system provides efficient recharge and enhanced battery lifespan. For mission-critical applications demanding continuous uptime, the 5kVA UPS can provide expandable runtime with optional BP192V12RT3US external battery pack (sold separately). Battery-independent restart ensures automatic UPS power-up after lengthy power outages, even with expired batteries.

Pre-installed WEBCARDLXMINI Network Interface Offers 24/7 Access
Pre-installed WEBCARDLXMINI interface, which enables full remote access for site power and UPS status monitoring, configuration, control and email notifications via secure web browser, SNMP, telnet or SSH. It supports 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing for optimum communication with an Ethernet network. Automated alerts help prevent accidental overloads, power loss and downtime. Advanced Communications Ports USB and DB9 ports with included cabling enable data-saving unattended shutdown of connected systems when used with Tripp Lite's free downloadable PowerAlert® software. Capabilities include detailed monitoring of load levels, self-test data and utility power conditions. DB9 ports also support basic contact-closure monitoring to report On-battery and Low-battery status for legacy systems.
Versatile Installation Options
Hardware is included for mounting the 3U 5kVA UPS system and included 2U step-down transformer in 5U total rack spaces in an EIA-standard 19-inch 4-post rack. Use the optional 2POSTRMKITHD for 2-post rack mounting (qty 2 required) or the optional 2-9USTAND for mounting in an upright tower position.

Shipping & Return
Return Policy
You need to have a Return Authorization (RA) number before returning any products to HSSL Technologies.
For a hard copy of this form and a shipping label, please include your request in the form below.
You can also request an RA online by submitting an RA Request via email. Once you have provided HSSL Technologies with the appropriate information, we will contact you with an assigned RA number.
Defective or DOA Products
DOA or defective products are returned for REPLACEMENT ONLY with the same product/model. Deviations from this policy may result in a 20% Returns Processing Service Charge.
- Defective products must be in the original factory carton with all original packing materials.
- The Return Authorization number must be on the shipping label, not the carton. Please do not write on the carton.
- Returns must be shipped freight prepaid. Products received freight collect, without an RA number, or not approved for return will be refused.
- Return Authorization numbers are valid for fourteen (14) days only. Products returned after expiration will be refused.
- HSSL credits are based on the purchase price or current price, whichever is lower.
General Return Terms
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We will also pay return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (e.g., you received an incorrect or defective item).
You should expect to receive your refund within approximately six weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. This period includes:
- 5–10 business days for us to receive your return from the shipper
- 3–5 business days for us to process your return
- 5–10 business days for your bank to process the refund
