The USR^® Courier^® Lite 56K* Business Modem with V.Everything^® technology provides secure, reliable analog connections. Point of Sale, M2M (Machine to Machine), IoT (Internet of Things) applications as well as Out of Band Management and Remote Management deployments utilize remote access to configure or troubleshoot. When failure is not an option, you need the world-class capabilities that only come from the top of the USR product line.

Server and 64 bit, UNIX, Linux - any operating system that supports an RS-232 serial port
Dialback security checks incoming calls for password authorization and then dials back predefined numbers to assure only appropriate users establish connections
Carrier Loss Redial automatically senses, redials, and re-establishes dropped remote connections - creates a virtual always-on connection between two modems over standard analog dial-up lines
Advanced Line Probing technology finds the fastest connection and maintains connections under poor line conditions
Brown-out Protection assures you stay connected even in areas with poor power facilities
Robust, business-oriented design, component selection, testing, and experience to support non-stop operation
Remote access and management lets you configure or troubleshoot from almost anywhere
Use as a secondary connection to troubleshoot, reconfigure, and reboot network devices through a console port.
External 8 position DIP switch allows manual configuration of specific critical settings
Extra LEDs for better monitoring of serial signals
Precise manual volume control
Permanently store preferred modem default settings
