Pushing technology and design to the limit, the RX-70-4K display receiver brings 5-Play™ compliance to long distance 4K HDBaseT distribution and control within an incredibly low profile chassis of just 18mm for a greatly reduced form factor behind even the slimmest wall plates to make installation a dream.
Designed to be used as part of an MX-0808-PP-POH-4K matrix integration, the RX-70-4K receiver features the same powerful Class A HDBaseT technology and a full 5-Play™ feature set including 100m/328ft transmissions of 1080p@60Hz 48bit Deep Color video, HD audio, discrete two-way control via IR and RS232, Ethernet passthrough and 100W remote power to display zones all along a single Cat5e/6 cable.
UltraHD 4K transmissions from an MX-0808-PP-POH-4K matrix or compatible transmission device are supported up to 70m/230ft over Cat6 at 30Hz / 24bit with a 4K chroma sub-sampling colour palette of 4:2:2 for the optimal 4K pixel management to bandwidth balance to satisfy HDMI 1.4v standards.
Including serial control support from the MX-PP-POH-4K matrix with compatibility with leading control systems and switchable RS232 selection for firmware updates, the RX-70-4K draws power remotely from the matrix, but also offers improved 12v power connectivity via phoenix port and threaded DC power port for standard and locking DC power plugs.
Signal and device activity is illustrated by panel LED indicators for power supply, signal status for established display connection, Link for confirmed HDBaseT connection between matrix/receiver and HDCP presence in signal - all giving instant visual confiramtion of operational status and helping to identify potential issues.
