Introduction
KD-X444LP is a 4K/UHD 18Gbps, HDCP2.2 compliant HDMI over CAT6 Transmitter Plus Receiver. The HDMI extender set extends HDMI signals with the latest standards in resolution, HDR, and Chroma over a single CAT6 cable.
Easily Select HDMI Resolution and Audio Format
Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) plays a crucial role in HDMI handshaking. It enables the display to communicate its capabilities to the connected source.
The KD-X444LP HDMI extender set provides 16 options for EDID handshake, including an auto feature that adapts to display capabilities. This ensures compatibility and reliable video and audio transmission – all part of Key Digital's HDMI proprietary Full Buffer Technology.
Forced Hot Plug Detection: Troubleshooting Made Easy
Forced Hot Plug Detection ensures the display recognizes the source, eliminating signal loss issues in complex setups. This simple tool streamlines troubleshooting and reduces sync times during system startup.
Long-Range Performance
The KD-X444LP is designed for long-range applications. It extends signals up to 230 feet (70 meters) or greater when using CAT6 cable. With the HDMI pass-through port on the transmitter, you can easily add monitors near the source location. This is ideal for presentations, dual display systems, or connection to AV surround receivers.
Additionally, KD-X444LP supports 3.5mm IR and RS-232 control, enhancing its integration with connected AV equipment over a single CAT6 cable.
The kit includes an IR sensor, emitter, and a single power supply thanks to flexible Power over CAT (PoC) technology. You may connect the power supply to the unit most convenient for your installation.
Universal Shelf Mount Solution (KD-SMS16)
Key Digital also offers the KD-SMS16, a shelf-mount solution compatible with the KD-X444LP. This versatile mounting option provides a clean, professional look for installations. Visit our where-to-buy page to get this product.
