Product Description
Kramer 22-00004630 Secure 4 Port Mini-Matrix KVM Switches - 22-00004630
The Mini-Matrix KVM switch offered by HSL provides increased productivity in challenging multi-computer environments where users are required to view and interact with several computers while maintaining the highest isolation between computers and peripherals.
Unlike a traditional KVM Switch, the Mini-Matrix allows the user to work on and interact with two of the 4 connected computers simultaneously. Switching is done by moving the mouse from screen to screen.
Advance pre-sets allows using the mini-matrix with additional displays connected or dual head computers.
HSL Mini-Matrix KVM switches qualify for the latest NIAP Common Criteria Protection Profile version 3.0 (PP3.0) certification for peripheral Sharing Switch (PSS) devices.
The ideal KVM switch for meeting rooms and control centers Best suited to scenarios where one or more computers have to be presented at the same time on multiple displays. For example: — In control centers where information from several sources has to be constantly displayed in real time. — In meeting rooms where both visitor and host computers are to be viewed and controlled simultaneously.
Features:
-
4-Port KVM Switch:
- The 22-00004630 supports up to 4 systems (computers or servers) from a single workstation. This allows users to control multiple systems without needing separate peripherals for each one, simplifying desk setups and increasing operational efficiency.
-
Mini-Matrix Functionality:
- The mini-matrix functionality enables users to route control to any connected computer from any port. You can independently switch between the connected systems, providing maximum flexibility in managing your systems. This functionality is particularly useful for environments where you need to manage several systems at once, such as network operation centers or secure IT operations.
-
High Security:
- The 22-00004630 is engineered to meet high-security standards, ensuring strict isolation between connected systems. This means that data cannot be shared or accessed between systems, preventing cross-contamination of sensitive information and safeguarding against unauthorized data breaches.
-
Single-Head Configuration:
- The switch features a single-head setup, which means only one set of keyboard, monitor, and mouse is required to control all connected systems. This simplifies the workspace, reduces clutter, and makes it easier to manage multiple systems with a streamlined setup.
-
Easy Switching:
- Switching between the connected systems is fast and intuitive. Users can toggle between computers using keyboard hotkeys, the on-screen display (OSD), or the front-panel buttons. This provides a seamless transition between systems with minimal interruption to workflow.
-
High-Resolution Video Support:
- The 22-00004630 supports high-resolution video output, ensuring that it can be used with modern systems and high-definition displays. The KVM switch delivers crisp and clear video at high resolutions, making it ideal for professional video and graphical applications.
-
Broad Compatibility:
- The 22-00004630 is compatible with a variety of operating systems, including Windows, Mac, and Linux. This broad compatibility makes it an excellent choice for environments with mixed-platform systems.
-
Audio Support:
- The KVM switch also supports audio signals, providing a comprehensive solution for managing both video and audio from the same control station. This is beneficial in environments where both audio and video need to be controlled simultaneously, such as in broadcasting or media production.
-
USB Peripheral Support:
- The switch supports USB peripherals, allowing users to share devices like printers, scanners, or storage devices across the connected systems. This makes the KVM switch more versatile, eliminating the need for separate peripherals for each system.
-
Compact and Rack-Mountable Design:
- The 22-00004630 has a compact design that makes it easy to integrate into workstations, server rooms, or other environments where space is limited. It is also rack-mountable, which is ideal for use in data centers or IT server rooms where organizing and securing equipment is a priority.
